It received that recognition after winning the Large Residential Agency of the Year Award, Marketing Agency of the Year and Innovation Agency of the Year award at the national level for three straight years between 2016-19. Toop&Toop also claimed the No.1 crown in 2014.

Toop&Toop’s unprecedented achievement was scheduled to be announced at the 2020 REIA National Awards for Excellence in Darwin on April 2, but the event was cancelled because of the coronavirus restrictions.

Toop&Toop has long been accustomed to industry plaudits since being founded by Anthony and Sylvia Toop in 1985.

At state level, it is s six-time winner of the REISA Large Agency of the Year title, has been named Communication Agency of the Year seven times and Most Innovative Agency six times.

It’s also a four-time winner of the Australian Communications Agency of the Year and has claimed the Australian Innovation Agency of the Year on three occasions.

The National Awards for Excellence proved a bonanza for Toop&Toop, with Sales Partner Sally Cameron recognised as the nation’s premier salesperson.

She claimed the prestigious award ahead of six other nominees and is just the second South Australian to claim the national crown. She joins 2007 winner Peter Veitch, who also was a member of the Toop&Toop team.

“Winning awards isn’t the biggest priority for us but it’s nice to receive this recognition, knowing that the service we are providing our clients here in South Australia sets the bar for the nation,” Toop&Toop Director of Residential Sales, Bronte Manuel, said.

“We are a proudly South Australian business that has always placed a real emphasis on retaining strong family values.

“Those foundations were laid by Anthony and Sylvia almost 35 years ago and we’ve never wavered from those core values. I think that’s something that’s always stood us in good stead.

“This latest award is great recognition for the hard work and professionalism of our entire team – from our sales partners to our marketing and administration staff. It’s a true team effort.

“It’s quite humbling to think we’re the first real estate business to achieve this feat, given the strength and size of some agencies on the eastern seaboard.

“Our commitment to innovation has been a significant factor, too.

“We firmly believe in the saying that if you’re standing still, you’re actually going backwards.

“Given the current challenges presented to us by the coronavirus, we’re very thankful we have made such an investment in innovation and technology.

“It means we’re extremely well placed to help buyers and sellers through these uncertain times.”
