James brings a lifelong connection to agriculture and regional communities to his role in rural real estate. Growing up, he developed a passion for farming while spending time at his grandparents’ property at Koppamurra. School holidays were often spent working with neighbouring farmers, gaining hands-on experience with sheep, cropping and the daily rhythm of farm life.

That early exposure sparked a strong interest in agriculture and led James to complete his final years of schooling on the Eyre Peninsula in Cleve, where he continued building his knowledge of broadacre farming systems and regional communities.

Before entering real estate, James has built extensive experience in agribusiness across South Australia. Working in wool brokerage, he advised growers on both global and domestic markets while travelling throughout the state and building strong relationships within the industry. He later moved into grain brokerage as a Trade Manager, analysing global market trends and helping growers to make informed decisions around the timing of grain sales. In this role, he worked closely with buyers trading into international markets and developed long-term relationships with farmers, traders and industry partners.

With a strong understanding of agricultural markets, farm operations and the challenges faced by rural producers, James offers clients practical insight when buying or selling rural and lifestyle properties. His background allows him to speak the language of farmers while providing strategic advice backed by real market knowledge.
