As Owner and Director of TOOP+TOOP Real Estate since 2019, Genevieve Toop, alongside her husband and fellow Owner/Director Bronte Manuel, has expertly led the family business into its next generation. Building upon the strong foundation established by her parents, Anthony and Sylvia Toop, Genevieve has cultivated a high-performance team with an unwavering commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer service.

Growing up immersed in the family business, Genevieve developed a deep passion for real estate and a comprehensive understanding of the industry. She attended Seymour College, then completed her schooling as a boarder at Geelong Grammar, working in the business after school and during school holidays for as long as she can remember. She graduated from Monash University in Melbourne with a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) and then advanced her career in London, working as an advertising executive at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Her global experience in advertising and marketing equipped her with the skills to develop and implement nationally award-winning marketing strategies for TOOP+TOOP.

Returning to Adelaide in 2012, Genevieve assumed a leadership role in TOOP+TOOP, overseeing the company’s sales, marketing, and software development departments. Under her guidance, the company has amassed numerous awards for marketing, communication, and innovation at both local and national levels, solidifying its position as the premier real estate agency in South Australia.

An extremely curious, forward thinker, Genevieve recognised the transformative potential of artificial intelligence early. As an eager learner and with so many mixed messages in a rapidly developing space, she made the decision to get in front of the world’s best minds in AI. She flew to San Francisco with TOOP+TOOP’s head software engineer to attend the inaugural AI Conference in September 2023. This experience inspired the development of TOOP+TOOP’s in-house AI assistant, TOOP.IE (TOOP INTELLIGENCE EXPERT), which launched to the team in January 2024 and is believed to be the first of its kind globally in supporting real estate agents. By integrating cutting-edge tools and embracing new technologies over the past decade, Genevieve has ensured that TOOP+TOOP remains at the forefront of the industry, delivering exceptional results for clients.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Genevieve champions women in business, inspiring young women aspiring to leadership roles. She is an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), connecting with local, national, and global business leaders to further her professional development, growth, and the success of TOOP+TOOP.

Genevieve and Bronte are also deeply committed to giving back to the community. They host a weekly Real Estate Radio show on FIVEaa to provide an on-the-ground update of what’s happening in the real estate market, and they spend most weekends supporting and helping to fundraise for local initiatives and charities, such as:
